Pantry’s cannabis-infused foods to be made in Las Vegas

The company will begin the construction of a GMP-certified commercial kitchen, to be located at its extraction facilities in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company expects to start production of Pantry cannabis-infused food in mid-2020.

The licensed products will initially include the following elements: fruit paste with a peach flavor infused with cannabis, real fruit puree in gummy form and Pâte de fruits originating from France as well as a cannabis-infused tiramisu ganache bonbon amongst others.

These cannabis-infused foods are made entirely without preservatives or artificial flavors and are naturally vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free.

Other products include Frankies 457 Olive Oil Ganache Candies. This is a rich dark chocolate ganache mixed with Frankies 457 extra virgin olive oil (made from Sicilian olives grown in Nocellara del Belice) and coated with a chocolate shell.

Cannabis-infused foods are a delicious opportunity

“When we considered the Pantry cannabis-infused food product line, we saw a unique opportunity to create delicious dishes, lightly infused with cannabis and prepared with premium all-natural ingredients, setting us apart from other edible companies,” said Scott Jennings, Pantry President. “Pantry believes that edible products will emerge as a powerful segment in the cannabis market. Pantry’s premium products appeal to gourmets, wellness enthusiasts and cannabis connoisseurs from all walks of life.”

“We are delighted to expand our product offering in Nevada with a gourmet cannabis-infused food line that will set a standard of excellence for all edible products. The Pantry team shares our vision and passion to provide natural cannabis products that improve, enrich and delight consumers. We look forward to launching the Pantry range in the coming months,” said Mr. Chris Rebentisch, CEO of 1933 Industries.

Edibles will be created by award-winning chefs

“1933 Industries is at the forefront of the wellness movement and we were impressed by the pedigree of the brands that the company has attracted to its portfolio. We believe that their success lies in their clear commitment to the highest standards of safety, quality and innovation,” said famous Canadian cannabis entrepreneur, chairman of the Board and Pantry investor, Paul Rosen.

Pantry is a privately held brand name company for high-end food products. Pantry sells delicious dishes lightly infused with cannabis, created by award-winning chefs and always prepared with the highest quality ingredients.

Products can be found in California on clinic shelves with already well-established plans to expand to other markets in 2020.
