Here are the benefits of CBD that overshadow negative stigmas

While cannabis is gaining increased acceptance, it is still a ways away from becoming fully endorsed in countries aside from a select few such as Uruguay and most recently, Canada. For this reason, more people are turning to CBD, or cannabidiol, a THC-like cannabinoid but one that lacks the psychoactive compound-fueled sensations which can cause anxiety or unease from consumption.

For people dealing with constant problems such as depression or mood swings, cannabis has come to their rescue. Although, it still faces legality issues in the U.S. as a federally illegal substance.

Providing relief for children

This was the famous story behind Charlotte’s Web. The strain that was eventually developed by Colorado cannabis producers to help treat her symptoms. The strain was composed of small amounts of THC and large proportions of CBD. They were immediately effective in reducing and eliminating seizures.

Growing pet CBD sector

CBD is very safe and non-toxic even with high dosages. So pets can also benefit from its ability to treat anxiety, seizures, and other conditions. It can also provide pain relief for pets with injuries or those who have undergone operations.

Pets have endocannabinoid systems just like people. As a result, CBD can play a large role in enhancing their health. This will be particularly beneficial for pets with a compromised system.

CBD treats patients suffering from epilepsy. This will be particularly useful as the numbers of pet owners increase. CBD has the potential to replace other forms of medication.

Something for everyone

The Controlled Substances Act of 1970 prohibits cannabinoids such as THC and CBD. However, hemp-derived CBD that contains 0.3 percent THC or less has become accessible for patients.

Brands such as PotNetwork Holdings, Inc. (OTCMKTS:POTN) accommodate CBD needs by using a delicate extraction process to ensure quality CBD containing very little THC. That allows for a comfortable experience without the sensations associated with marijuana.
