The active ingredient CBD is used in many products. Two Mainz-based companies are now opening a CBD store in the old town. When the word hemp is used, many people think directly about cannabis. But while cannabis is a forbidden drug in Germany, hemp can be healthy. Hemp products are marketed throughout Germany and have already found their way into the largest drugstore chains in the country.
CBD is used in many products including oils, cosmetics, and tea. The trend has encouraged two locals to open a CBD store in Mainz, Germany.
In addition to textiles and cosmetic products, hemp also plays a role as a medical plant. The active ingredient, CBD, has a calming effect and has been legal in Germany since July 2019.
The CBD trade wants to establish itself in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate. Therefore, the company opened a new CBD store in Mainz on Dec. 14.
In order to find more on this subject, one potentially useful cannabis investing tool is the Hemp.im app and its companion marijuana news website.
The two owners, Hüseyin Dündar and Lokman Er, are from Mainz. Both have known each other since their childhood.
Hüseyin is the co-founder of “Grünes Gold,” while Lokman is a banker. Both have been dealing with the topic of CBD for more than two years. After the opportunity arose to open a CBD shop in Mainz, they didn’t want to wait long.
It is the first shop outside of Hessen. The two operators describe it as a “shop to touch.” The customers should have the opportunity to inform themselves and to be advised.
Dündar and Er want to fight actively against the negative image of the cannabis plant and put the positive effects in the foreground. This is one of the reasons for this new CBD store in Mainz.
Contrary to popular opinion, cannabis does not cause a feeling of being “high.” On the contrary, “cannabidiol” or CBD for short, is said to have an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect.
The drug is used especially against depression and anxiety and stress. It is important that the THC content of the product remains below 0.2%. Without THC, the product is no longer psychoactive and thus does not make users “high” or addicted.
Numerous studies from the U.S. prove the positive effect of CBD on well-being and on health. Diseases like migraine, ADHD, sleep disorders and rheumatism can be treated very well with CBD.
Dündar and Er want to make this effect better known through their new CBD store in Mainz. They also have a wide range of products, from CBD oil and balm to classic dried flowers. All products are 100% vegan and organic.
“The legal control values are regularly checked by independent laboratories,” the two owners said.
It was important for both of them to fight against the stigma of hemp as an illegal drug. Of course, they are curious to see how the CBD store in Mainz will be received.
“We believe in our idea and the concept of CBD and we are sure that we can convince the “Meenzers” as well,” said Dündar and Er.
