The representative of ABRA Cannabis, Vinicius Pereira, pointed out that discussing and broadening the approach to the subject is fundamental so that more people can enjoy the medical benefits of cannabis extract.

“Meetings like this one that will be held in Macaé are being held all over Brazil, so that more people can get to know and be benefited, improving their health and quality of life,” he said.

Denise Mello, mother of a 4-year-old girl, who was born with microcephaly and currently uses the extract to treat intracranial epilepsies, is in charge of the organization Rede do Bem, which is being created in Macaé. She claimed that the results were impressive and that in just one and a half months of use, her daughter’s epilepsies decreased by 20%. “We are talking about something that is bringing more dignity to people’s lives and that needs to be de-stigmatized,” she stressed.
