Zooming in on CBD and its innumerable properties

More than ever, the trend is to return to the essentials and to seek natural ways to relax. It is therefore not surprising that in the current anxiety-provoking context, CBD has whetted our curiosity. With an enduring pandemic taking its toll on our mental health, more people than ever are now exploring its many uses and expanding the possibilities for this precious, golden oil.

This long controversial molecule from hemp is today more and more revered for its benefits. Particularly appreciated for its soothing and analgesic effects, CBD, among other numerous virtues, solves many ills. Much more than a simple fashion effect, this relaxing, but not psychotropic medicinal herb is gaining increasingly widespread mainstream acceptance.

With France only recently being ordered to back down from its conservative stance on the extract, along with many other news developments concerning hemp, cannabis, and CBD happening every day, keeping up to date with everything requires a constant eye on the news. But there is an easier way–download our companion hemp and cannabis news app today, and receive all the latest cannabis stories direct to your mobile.

The history of hemp and CBD

Although it has long suffered from a bad reputation, confused with its neighbor cannabis, hemp is one of the oldest plants cultivated by Man for its medicinal virtues and its use as a textile fiber. Today, it is making a comeback and its ecological qualities make it an indispensable plant for our future. With very little water consumption, hemp grows alone and everywhere, without any chemical products, and can be incredibly useful in many fields: food, paper mills, construction, cosmetics and even the pharmaceutical industry. Everything is used in hemp, from its seeds to its stalks or its oil.

And it is, of course, from this great green plant with many uses that CBD is extracted!

What is CBD?

An acronym of Cannabidiol, this molecule is one of the many cannabinoids (around two hundred according to the World Health Organization) present in the hemp flower, among which there is also tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). But if these molecules are close, their effects are different. Contrary to THC (classified as a narcotic drug), CBD is legal with a level of less than 0.2% THC (according to French legislation). At this level, it does not produce any euphoric effect. In other words, it does not make you high, does not alter your state of consciousness, does not cause addiction, and is not dangerous to your health. In fact, it is quite the opposite…

What are the benefits of CBD?

If CBD is so popular, it is mainly because of its multiple benefits on our well-being in the broadest sense.  And if there are a plethora of ways to consume CBD, in food supplements, e-liquid, herbal tea, candy, cream… The most widespread method is in its oil form.

Among the purest and most natural on the market, Cibdol CBD premium quality oils, recognized as highly valuable, are available in different concentrations to meet everyone’s needs. To be absorbed sublingually, a few drops under the tongue are enough for an almost immediate effect. They can also be mixed with food or applied directly to the skin.

CBD is said to be an effective anxiolytic. Consumers have reported numerous positive effects on their stress level, anxiety, and the quality of their sleep. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and helps to relieve joint pain such as arthritis, rheumatism, menstruation, and migraines.

CBD also contains antioxidant properties and protects the epidermis from environmental stress, pollution and provides relief from skin problems such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis. It could even have possible positive effects on more serious pathologies such as multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, or fibromyalgia.

However, cannabidiol is not considered a medication. CBD does not treat any pathology, it only alleviates the symptoms. Research on CBD around the world to study the enormous potential of this molecule of happiness is multiplying, and current studies tend to demonstrate the positive effects of CBD oil on our body.

100% natural is more environmentally friendly

At a time when we talk more than ever about ecology, CBD has become one of the natural ingredients that are revolutionizing the world of well-being. In order to guarantee high quality and to preserve the environment, some companies are now opting for a CO2 extraction process that is safe for both man and nature.

100% natural and without harsh solvent use, varieties like European hemp, without THC or pesticides are transformed into high-quality CBD oils. Oils that fit well with today’s wellness needs as they are both vegan and gluten-free, with the added bonus of a beautiful golden color, synonymous with excellence in its purest state.
