Cannavita establishes as the first cannabis shop in Mexico

Cannabis in Mexico has completed a whole chain of its own specialized marketing, even before it was fully legalized. According to the latest news, Cannavita, the first cannabis shop to offer cannabis-based products, opened its doors. Located in Colima (west), the store will offer various products derived from Cannabis with significant medicinal benefits.

The shop specializes in cannabis-based products, from oil drops – a product that most people consume – coffee, chai tea, and edible oil. Also, energy drinks and creams for dry skin, mixed and collagen with botox effect to reduce spots and remove wrinkles.

Fidel Serrano Castellanos, authorized distributor, reported that the objective is to raise awareness about what CBD is. That is to say the part of cannabis with medicinal benefits since it can treat ailments from stress, cancer, acne, anxiety, and depression, as well as multiple sclerosis.

CBD is also helpful for fibromyalgia, glaucoma, diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, lupus, migraine, osteoporosis, chronic pain, epilepsy, tumors, asthma, loss of appetite and body weight, Parkinson’s disease and many other pathologies.

CBD-based products have several medical properties

Serrano Castellanos revealed that THC is a psychoactive compound in the cannabis plant and is responsible for effects such as mood swings and altered perception. While the cannabis-based products manufactured by Cannavita, contain only Cannabidiol – (CBD), which is a component of cannabis that has a significant medicinal benefit, it does not make people feel “stoned” or affect their health.

“Also the positive impact on the health part of people by being a product that has no side effects with any traditional medicine.”

He explained that there is no age at which the products cannot be consumed, as there is a family product, from minors – after consulting the treating physician – to young people, adults and the elderly.

“Cannavita products are food service, 100 percent natural and food-grade.”

He added that these products are treatments and can be taken throughout life or for a certain period.

“If the person wants to consume CBD for a year, two stops are made every five months, because the body must relax for a month for the CBD to come out,” said Serrano, clarifying that these products do not cause addiction and do not come out in anti-doping as if some drug had been consumed.

The cannabis shop has the permission from the central government

Serrano Castellanos announced that they have the permissions and the endorsement of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), as well as the Federal Commission for Protection against Health Risks (Cofepris) because it is a natural product and not a drug.

It is contemplated that in about two months more branches will be opened in the Colimense entity, one in Tecomán and another in Manzanillo, taking into account the behavior of the Covid-19 pandemic. “So that people have within their reach the products for the benefit of society,” concluded Serano.
